What is it?
Destination Imagination is an educational program where student teams solve open-ended Challenges and can present their solutions at tournaments.
What do kids learn?
Creativity, innovation, cooperation, collaboration, risk taking, communication, leadership, listening skills, perseverence, self-confidence, and much more!
How does it work?
Kids meet in small teams during the school year to create a solution to one of several challenges issued by Destination Imagination. The challenges are large but kids' imaginations are bigger! Kids can participate in tournaments to show off and celebrate their amazing solutions.

DI enriches students!
Bedford has a rich Destination Imagination history. While the journey is always far more important than the competitions, teams have performed well in Regional, State and Global tournaments. And they have a ton of fun doing it as they learn valuable 21st century skills that help them in the real world.
Thanks to our smart, enthusiastic students and dedicated volunteers, Bedford's DI program is fostering life long skills that DI alumni say are useful through their college and professional careers.
