What is Destination Imagination?

In Destination Imagination (also known as DI), elementary through high school students work together in teams solving an open-ended challenge involving STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) subjects. Each school year, teams solve their challenges; developing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; and present their solutions in the form of a short skit at a tournament.

Destination Imagination, a non-profit, creates the challenges, which are solved by teams and presented at local tournaments all over the world.

If your child is creative, is crazy about puzzles, loves to paint and draw, can build anything out of cardboard boxes, writes amazing stories, thinks up whimsical new worlds, has a flair for drama and acting, is totally into science, or has rewired your toaster into a working time machine (or wants to), then you may have a Destination Imagination child!

An inspirational quote by Dr. Seuss: 'Why fit in when you were born to stand out?'. The quote is in bold, black, pink, and light blue text, with a pink border around the image. The logo of 'Destination Imagination' is at the bottom.
